Special Occasion Permit

The Miller Lash House does not have a liquor license and operates under a Special Occasion Permit, which must be obtained by the client at the LCBO. This permit will allow you to supply your own alcohol for your function.  When you apply for the permit, you assume legal responsibility for your guests.  Miller Lash House catering will supply you with trained bartenders to tend your bar.

To assist our clients with the Special Occasion Permit (SOP) application process, Miller Lash House has produced form letters to be completed and faxed to the appropriate City of Toronto departments. The LCBO will require a copy of these completed documents.

Please keep in mind, the AGCO has strict timelines for the application of an SOP. For the application of an outdoor permit, you must apply no later than 30 days prior to your event.  For the application of an indoor permit, you must apply no later than 10 days prior to your event.

Please take your SOP application to the LCBO located in the plaza at 4525 Kingston Rd, Scarborough, M1E 2P1.  The major intersection is Morningside and Kingston Rd and their phone number is 416-282-2034.
